In this section, we will analyse our survey about accommodation of international students.


Firstly, we collected general information about the respondents in terms of ages, hometowns counters, gender and languages.
The results show that the majority of the participants are male. Furthermore, Half of our participants are between 18 – 21 years old. In addition, the respondents’ hometown country chart shows there were many students come from different country.


The type of accommodation that the EAP4 students live in

We found that more than half of EAP4 students are living in shared accommodation and 20% rent an apartment or a house.
We believe that because international students prefer to live with other people to share or learn some experiences from others.




It is clear from this pie chart that 1 in 2 students found their accommodation by the internet or social media. This is not surprising because nowaday social media and the internet become more popular and remarkable and it makes our life become convenient.


The aims of choosing accommodation



This data shows that a majority of EAP4 students choose their place of residence because it is in the proximity of the University and to live with their friends or family.


Students satisfaction with their accommodation



We asked students about how satisfied are they with their current accommodation. We found that some student are satisfied because it has excellent facilities, safety and comfortable. Whereas, a few of our respondents are not fully satisfied because the high price, they don't feel considerate and the lack of privacy.

  1. The graphics in this post a very good and well formatted. Remember when describing the graphs and charts to clearly state in sentences what the graphics show. This should not be written so much using transition signals like an essay but with some of the vocabulary we studied last week. Your final paragraph describes some interesting data but should be included in the description of survey findings section of your project
